Insurance accepted

Dr. Zaidi works with most major commercial plans, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and Texas workers' compensation across the Fort Worth, Keller, and Lewisville offices. Benefits differ from plan to plan even under the same insurer, so confirm yours before scheduling — the office will help you check.

Plans accepted

Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, military and workers' compensation plans, listed alphabetically. Coverage still depends on your specific plan and benefit design — deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, and whether your plan requires a referral or prior authorisation for spine care.

The most reliable check is the one you make yourself: call the member services number on the back of your card and confirm that Qasim Zaidi, MD at Texas Bone and Joint is in network for your specific plan. Network participation can differ between two plans sold by the same insurer, and it can change without the practice being notified. This page is a guide, not a guarantee of coverage or payment.

Common questions

Does Dr. Zaidi accept Blue Cross Blue Shield?

Yes. Blue Cross Blue Shield is an active in-network contract at all three offices — Fort Worth (Alliance), Keller, and Lewisville. As with any plan, confirm your specific BCBS product covers spine care with this practice before scheduling.

Does Dr. Zaidi accept UnitedHealthcare or Aetna?

Both. UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and Aetna are on the accepted list for commercial and Medicare products. Confirm your particular plan when you call.

Do you take Medicare and Medicaid?

Yes to both. Texas Medicare and Texas Railroad Medicare are accepted, as are Medicare Advantage plans through Humana, WellMed, and Cigna Medicare (HealthSpring). Texas Medicaid is accepted, including plans administered by Superior HealthPlan, Wellpoint, and WellCare.

Medicaid plans in Texas vary in what they authorise for spine care, so please call before scheduling so the office can check your specific plan.

Do you accept Tricare?

Yes. Tricare Prime West is accepted. Some military plans require a referral from your primary care manager before a specialist visit — the office will verify that when you call.

Do you treat workers' compensation injuries?

Yes. Texas Mutual and Sedgwick are both in network for workers' compensation. Bring your claim number and your adjuster's contact information to the first visit so the office can request authorisation without delay.

My plan is not on this list. Can I still be seen?

Often, yes. The list is added to as new contracts complete. Call (877) 314-8990 and the office will check current status for your plan.

Out-of-network and self-pay consultations can also be arranged. Ask for an estimate up front so there are no surprises.
